The Delicious Pain Relief Recipe I Learned from a 61-Year Old Brazilian Beauty

How this natural meat tenderizer gobbles up pain causing “scar tissue” gumming up your muscles...clogging up your joints...and pooling around your nerves.

Meat Dish

This tastes great and fights pain...

Last week, while at a friend’s house for dinner, something happened that perfectly illustrates why a certain enzyme fights pain and keeps it away (an approach few doctors understand and even less will tell you about).

And as a bonus, I also learned how to whip up a 5-star dining experience on a McDonald’s budget.

Anyways, here’s what happened...

My friend’s mom - a 61 year old woman who looks better than most girls half her age (don’t tell him I said that) - chopped up a fruit you can find in any supermarket. But instead of throwing the scraps away (the skin and core) she tossed them in with the marinade for the meat.

Kinda weird, right?

I would have thrown that in the garbage.

So I asked why she did it.

Why This "Old Brazilian Secret Recipe" Stops Pain

“When I lived in Brazil, we didn’t have a lot of money. But I wanted my kids to eat well, so I bought the only meat I could afford...the cheaper, tougher, harder-to-chew cuts like you find in the neck or legs. Marinating with this (secret ingredient) tenderizes the meat, making even the toughest cuts moist, tender, and delicious.”

Now, she didn’t know why it tenderizes the meat. But I did.

Old Shoes

You see, these tougher cuts of meat are chock full of collagen. Collagen is like velcro. It “binds” the proteins in steak together (so it’s like chewing on a leather shoe). But this Brazilian “secret ingredient” breaks down the collagen bonds making even the toughest steaks tender as a filet mignon.

What’s this got to do with pain relief?

Well, just like collagen in a cheap steak binds together animal proteins...there is a “collagen-like” substance inside you that can lock you up like a straightjacket. It’s called fibrin. It’s tough, inflexible, and is the same stuff scar tissue is made of.

A little fibrin is good (like a scar covering a cut, it helps you heal).

But if too much gums up your muscles...clogs up your joints...or pools around your nerves, that is NOT a good thing. It’s like squeezing super glue on a door hinge. Everything gets a little tighter and stickier.

And it’s this tightness and stickiness that triggers constant (as in, chronic) pain.

What EXACTLY Is Stopping the Pain?
Scar Tissue

That doesn’t sound too fun, does it?

But it’s not like your body is defenseless. It eliminates extra fibrin by using something called “proteolytic enzymes”. Proteolytic enzymes gobble up fibrin like pac-man chomping away at yellow dots.

Normally your body produces enough proteolytic enzymes to combat fibrin. But poor diet, environmental factors, and the natural aging process reduce your ability to make it (resulting in fibrin overload...as it spreads through your body like a spiderweb causing more and more aches and pains).

So how do you get more proteolytic enzymes?

Pineapple! (But you can’t just eat it, I’ll explain why in a second).

Pineapple is what my friends mom was marinating the meat with.

You see, pineapples (especially the core) contain bromelain. This is a type of proteolytic enzyme. And when mixed with meat it breaks the collagen bonds, tenderizing the meat (in fact, look on the label of most store bought meat tenderizers and you’ll see bromelain printed right on there).

Jell-O

What’s really cool is you can actually see and feel proteolytic enzymes in action...

Whip up some Jell-O and throw a slice of pineapple in as it cools (the step after dissolving the powdered Jell-O in boiling water). It will NEVER solidify. The bromelain in the pineapple attacks the gelatin, breaking it down, keeping the solution in a liquid form.

Or, just eat a bunch of pineapple core. Your tongue will start to “burn” (perhaps you’ve felt it before?). That burning sensation is the bromelain eating away at your taste buds.

Don’t worry, they grow back.

If you choose to do either of these experiments, you’ll experience first hand the exact same action that dissolves pain causing fibrin that is gumming up your muscles and joints.

Now Here’s the BAD News...

While marinating steak in pineapple is delicious, eating pineapple alone won’t stop pain deep in your joints or muscles. You’d burn your tongue off way before eating enough. And stomach acids destroy most of the rest.

Heal-n-Soothe

Which is why we put bromelain (along with 4 other proteolytic enzymes) in a supplement called Heal-n-Soothe. It’s designed to survive the harsh environment in your stomach and release in your small intestine. Once there, it hops on into your bloodstream where it attacks the fibrin that is causing your muscle and joint pain.

Heal-n-Soothe starts to work quick (most people report relief in the first hour).

Because it is a natural substance there are no side effects.

And best of all, you get even greater pain relief the longer you take them (since proteolytic enzymes are part of your natural healing process, Heal-n-Soothe works with you instead of against you).

If you want fast and lasting pain relief without any side effects, Heal-n-Soothe may be able to help. Click here to stop pain caused by fibrin.

One last thing.

To help you make an informed decision you ought to know...

There is One Other Thing That Can help Rid Your Body of Fibrin

It’s not surgery (you can’t cut it out).

Prescription and over the counter drugs don’t do anything to it (they work on different pathways).

Exercise and physical therapy don’t get rid of it.

And while there are a lot of benefits of alternative “pain relief” methods like chiropractic, acupuncture, meditation and more...the only other effective method I know of against fibrin is massage therapy.

The pressing and stroking of massage breaks up and pushes out fibrin.

Quick fun fact: That’s why outrageously expensive Wagyu or Kobe beef (an 8 ounce Ribeye retails for $250 or more) is so much more tender than regular meat. The cattle this beef comes from are actually hand massaged to keep fibrin from accumulating and toughening up the meat!

And because of this, massage therapy combined with Heal-n-Soothe makes for a VERY powerful 1-2 punch against fibrin.

But massage can’t reach into all of the tiny nooks and crannies where fibrin hides (like inside your joints). You probably don’t get a massage every day. And there’s no denying...massage flat out hurts sometimes.

Plus, as the days tick by, more and more fibrin starts to build up inside you.

That’s why - even if you frequently hit up the massage parlor - Heal-n-Soothe is your best bet to keeping this constant barrage of fibrin in check and chronic pain at bay.
